GENERAL

The published tariff rate for The Vineyard cottage includes all bed linen and towels, electricity, gas central heating and broadband/wifi.

The standard rental period is from 3.00pm on arrival day until 10.00am on day of departure.

Regrettably, pets are not permitted at The Vineyard, and smoking (including vapes) is not allowed

BOOKINGS

A provisional booking will be held for 5 days

A deposit of £50 is required to secure each booking of 3 nights.

A deposit of 10% of the booking value is required for each booking of 4 nights or more.

Upon receipt of the deposit payment, the lead guest will be sent a Booking Form that confirms the reservation details ie dates booked, rental details and names of all adult guests (age 16+) who will be staying at the cottage*, lead guest’s postal address and contact telephone numbers.

The Vineyard cottage owner’s contact details are also provided on the Booking Form.

Bookings are formally confirmed in writing upon receipt of the deposit payment and completed Booking Form details.

The balance of the rental cost is due for payment six weeks before arrival/occupancy, and is also formally confirmed in writing when paid.

Where a booking is made within six weeks of arrival/occupancy, the full rental payment is due at the time of booking.

Location and access details for The Vineyard together with a town map etc are posted to the lead guest 2 weeks prior to arrival or, in the case of a booking made within 2 weeks of arrival, the content of the relevant letter is emailed

CANCELLATION CHARGES

More than 6 weeks prior to arrival/occupancy - Deposit

6 - 2 weeks prior to arrival/occupancy - 50% of total cost

Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival/occupancy - 90% of total cost

In the event of cancellation we will endeavour to re-let the cottage for the affected dates and, if successful, will refund 90% of any recovered sum.

It is recommended that guests obtain suitable insurance to cover the duration of their planned stay at The Vineyard.

GPDR COMPLIANCE

All personal data provided and noted when enquiring and/or booking The Vineyard is not, and will not, be passed to any third party; and is used solely to ensure that individual enquiries and bookings are managed efficiently.
